GATE token is the utility token that is an integral element of our DFMI Solution. Utilised within GATENet’s ecosystem, the GATE token runs parallel with our platform, ensuring that we participate in the adoption of digital assets through the medium of token use for all fees coming into GATENet.

The use of GATE token for GATENet Fees, Staking, Burning and Governance helps to underpin our settlement of fees within the GATENet, while allowing holders to adjust the balance of GATE’s utility according to the ever changing landscape of digital assets.

Fees are payable to GATENet in fiat or GATE tokens. GATENet Fees are primarily split between GATENet’s runninng costs and upgrades to the platform as we progress through our phased development roadmap and GATE token stakers, who hold and stake GATE on our dedicated stakinng platform. Furthermore, depending on GATE governnance percentage votes, an amount of GATE will be ‘burned’ and removed from circulation.

GATE token is governed by its holders, the 3-way split between Fees, Staking Rewards and Burning are altered through voting opportunities within the GATE Community. This form of token administration allows for token holders to have influence, empowering them to decide how the percentages towards the 3-way split are maintained. This helps GATENet’s platform grow and develop with community support and adoption of the DFMI vision.
