GATENet’s objective is to address the inefficiencies that exist today in the current legacy financial markets infrastructure (Legacy FMI) that arise from the T+2 settlement model for securities which is outdated, complex and fragmented. The result is an expensive, inefficient and disconnected market infrastructure leading to a high cost of capital and multiple points of failure.
Our answer is GATENet’s Digital FMI. (add in infographic for GATENet DFMI) In its simplest form, GATENet’s Digital FMI provides a single point of access to support the creation, issuance & listing of securities powered by blockchain technology. Combining GATENet’s on-chain functionality with the technology solutions provided by our strategic partners, we are firmly of the view that we are the ONLY provider of this service globally.
The GATEet team contains a wealth of experience within the capital markets that offers a comprehensive understanding of the current inefficiencies within the Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) and together formed the vision that GATENet aims to achieve.
